We need a psychiatric evaluation...
Yesterday, in lesson 4 we still studied about Mr. Bloom's case and we recalled back the details from our memory. In that day, we learned about passive voice.
Actually, the passive voice is more formal than the active voice and is often used when professionals are speaking or writing to other professionals. It is more appropriate to use the active voice with patients, patients' relatives and close colleagues.
Moreover we also learned about the referral letter to send to a specialist for further investigation. After that, we made a diagnosed for Mr. Bloom. It could be a Stiff Person Syndrome that Mr. Bloom got.
Oops!!! I forgot something to tell you all. Nazrin was absent on Friday. That's why our class so lonely.. There's no troublemakers, pity to 'pidot' (Firdaus), no gang to make joke. huhuhu
This due to Nazrin went back to his hometown at that morning. And I did not know the reasons why he must went back early. So, weird. Never mined, who cared.
Then, we continued learned the next lesson entitled "It might be multiple sclerosis" and we discussed the differential diagnosis of the following patient. There were pericarditis, myocardial infraction and pleuritis.

Breaking bAD nEwS.....
If you as a doctor, how you are going to ask the patient? With an 'accusing tone' or 'supporting tone'? Definitely with the "supporting tone"!
This is because it is more fluctuate and monotonous tone compare to " accusing tone" which is more rude and unreasonable.
As the old saying, "It's not what you say, it's how you say it" is especially true in the medical field. A small change in a health care provider's intonation can completely change a patients attitude and cooperation.
Besides, we also do some activities in group such as brainstorm as many words related to pain. There are two intensity of pains, severe and mild. We also learn about the characters of pain. For instances, hot, aching, blunt, annoying and stabbing. From there I realized that there are differences between the characters and intensities of pain. Thank you, Miss.Dila.
In addition, we also learn a new case. This case about Mr. Bloom who complaining of lower back pain.
Then, we also make some exercise and listening to the CD. Moreover we also make a sentence using either a confirmation or question tone.
(p:s sorry late update,:>hehehe)

1,2,3 ACTION...
From the girl's group we add some sound effects to make it more interesting. It's so awesome and the ideas came from Akma,Naz,Syafikar and me.During the role-play,I think I'm like as a comic relief to others as to make the them laugh. So, embarrassing. However,I am so satisfied after we done it.
In a nutshell, we must be comfortable with ourselves and thus, automatically it will increased our self-esteem.
(p/s:Don't afraid and shy to express your feeling and talks to others)
(It's 80%,don't forget!)
